Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ExperienceTechSoft, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates a private internal business management application ("ETS Dashboard") for sole use by the business owner. This Privacy Policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and how it is protected. We do not operate a consumer-facing product and do not collect data from third parties.

2. Financial Data via Plaid

ETS Dashboard uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to connect to financial institutions for the purpose of retrieving account balances and transaction history. This connection is established solely by and for the business owner.

• What is accessed: Account names, current balances, available balances, and transaction records (date, amount, merchant name, category).
• Why it is accessed: To provide a unified view of business cash flow, automate income and expense categorization, and support tax preparation for ExperienceTechSoft, LLC.
• Who can access it: Only the business owner (Michael A. Vaiana). No employees, contractors, or third parties have access to the application or its data.
• Where it is stored: All data is stored locally on the owner's personal computer in a SQLite database file. No data is transmitted to external servers operated by ExperienceTechSoft.
• Bank credentials: We never store or have access to usernames, passwords, or account numbers. Authentication is handled entirely by Plaid's secure Link flow.

3. Data Retention

Financial data retrieved from Plaid is retained locally for as long as the application is in use by the business owner. The owner may delete all stored data at any time by removing the application's database file. Plaid access tokens are stored locally and can be revoked at any time from within the application or from the Plaid developer dashboard.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose any financial data to third parties. Data is used exclusively for the internal financial management of ExperienceTechSoft, LLC. The only third-party service involved in data access is Plaid, which acts as the intermediary between the application and financial institutions. Plaid's own privacy practices are governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

5. Security

The ETS Dashboard application is a desktop application installed on a password-protected personal computer. The database file containing financial data is stored in a protected user directory. Optional Google Drive backup is available for the database, which is protected by the owner's Google account credentials. We do not transmit financial data over the internet except through Plaid's encrypted API.

6. Scope of Application

ETS Dashboard is a private, internal tool. It is not distributed publicly, does not have user accounts, and does not serve any end users other than the business owner. This privacy policy is published to satisfy requirements for Plaid API production access and for transparency regarding the application's data practices.
